Description
Very early bronze ax head from the area of Afghanistan known as Bactria. With an interesting circular blade, and the back terminating with the form of a bird’s beak. Strange looking, perhaps, in our eyes and hard to see how the ancient warriors of Bactria may have used it, this is still a deadly weapon that strikes fear in the enemy even at first sight.
