Description
A very good example of a dedicatory figure, this bronze portrays an athlete making his offering of wine to the gods, either in thanks for their help in his victory or supplication for their grace and assistance. Greco-Roman, well modelled, now missing the lower part of his legs but every bit as expressive of his veneration and respect for the divine.
Size: 4 ½” in tall with a stand.
