Masterfully fashioned in the shape of a frog and signed “Marie Welch Cherokee NC”, this good Native American bowl represents some of the best and most inventive output that Native American craftsmen have produced in terracotta in latter part of the 20th century. For many Native Artists, their craft is a family tradition and it is passed along from one generation to the next.
