Description
Modeled after classical Greek originals, showing the head of a young athlete with a full head of hair, fleshy lips, and a thoughtful expression to the face. It was most probably placed in one of the Etruscan room-sized tombs, a vague remembrance of a once youthful man who may have been taken from life at the prime of his life. Red clay, late 4th Century BC
Size: 9 in. tall and 5 ½ in wide (not including base)
