Description
Ancient Greek vase used in the wedding ceremony, known as Lebes Gamikos, with a young man and the other side with a young woman holding a mirror. Marriage was an especially important hallowed cultural function in Ancient Greece, and it entailed days of special preparations. This vase was one of the implements necessary in the marriage preparations.
Condition is good, cover missing.
