Luristan in North Western Persia was one of the most advanced bronze weapons producing area of its day. Countless numbers of ancient bronze weapons originate from Luristan. Its bronze smelting and forging workshops were some of the best having advanced the strength of swords and daggers and the aerodynamics of javelins and spearheads. C.1200 BC
