Description
Carved in a blondish color wood, this wonderfully modeled sculpture is a portrait of a Renaissance person, a philosopher, writer, artist or possibly a governor or prelate of an Italian city. Most probably executed in Italy in a local workshop, 18th century or early 1800’s.
