Description
A good early cubist carved wood portrait, a sculpture attributed to the Catalan Spanish sculptor August Agero executed in the early 20th century. Agero was a pioneer of the Cubist Art Movement. Works in sculpture from the formative years of the cubist movement is rare and now-days it can usually be enjoyed in Museums.
Condition is good with only a minor repaired chip as expected with age excellent rich patina on the surface and presented on a purpose-built museum stand.
