Description
A finely cast bronze figure of a seated Buddha, with delicate, incised details for the clothing and the beaded jewelry, beautiful serene expression, eyes downcast as the Buddha is in a state of Nirvana. Good original gray-dark green patina. Seated on a later, lesser quality bronze lotus flower stand. The bronze Buddha dates to the Ming Dynasty while the lotus stand is a recent late 20th century cast.
