A Greek, South Italian ancient box or pyxis with cover, early 4th century BC., an ancient type that really derives from the earliest epoch in Greek Culture virtually unchanged since the Early Bronze Age. Decorated with a flower pattern.
Condition: Very Good, with most of the painted decoration intact.
