Description
Dutch or Flemish, painted on wood panel, it shows Christ as a young infant being circumcised, a joyous holiday celebrated on the Festival of the Circumcision, January 1st,
i.e. eight days after Christ’s Birth.
Very colorful, painted by a very good hand, unattributed as yet, it is both very decorative, and an excellent work of art.
Excellent condition.
