Ottoman Beykoz wheel-cut and gilt Covered Glass Jar, Early 1800’s, probably Istanbul, Turkey.
An elegant, clear transparent glass, hand blown covered jar with cut-glass designs of gilt florets and leafy branches, over most of its surface. The cover culminates in a double dome, much in the Ottoman tastes of the period.
Very collectible, excellent decoration.
