A wonderful multi-colored ceramic tile from Damascus, Ottoman Period Syria, its beauty reflecting the Iznik tiles of the 16th century during the time of Suleiman The Magnificent. This tile, brought to America in the 1940s, is a great example of the tiles covering the great buildings allover the Ottoman Realm in the 16th and 17th centuries.
