A good stone Ushabti with extensive hieroglyphic inscription on back, c. 1200 BC. Elegant and well-proportioned sculpture.
Only upper part survives, a decorative object with obvious gravitas, possibly a new Rosetta Stone, scholar’s academic interest pleasant surprise.
